About

Miki and her younger brother Robby flee their destructive home and find themselves in the towering metropolis, Los Angeles. There, they meet Sharkey, a pimp. Miki becomes infatuated with Sharkey and starts to work for him. Miki finds herself trapped in Sharkey's dominating world and must find a way to escape the nightmare.

• When the completed film was presented to the studio, executives demanded more explicit violence and nudity and inserted additional scenes featuring both. Director Lisa Hunt - who had intended the movie as an uncompromising view of prostitution from a sex worker's point of view - refused to attach her name to the finished feature and opted for a male pseudonym instead.
• Jeffrey Dean Morgan's film debut.
